Instant Image Gallery Script is a PHP based tool for posting customizable, image galleries. Instant Image Gallery Script is a PHP based tool for posting customizable, template based galleries, by simply uploading images to the server the script is running on. The script scans the directory you point it to (via a query string), and then it stores the list of images it retrieves in an array that is POSTED from page to page as the user moves through the gallery. This method of file-list-passing makes this script significantly more efficient than gallery tools that scan image directories each time they generate a page.

Windows 8 estimates: 500 million users in 2013

Microsoft expects to launch a new wave of optimism with Windows 8. In a recent statement, Steve Ballmer, chief executive at Microsoft, estimates that Windows 8 will reach a total of about 500 million users by the end of 2013.
